Playa Dorada (Dorada Beach) has turned into one of the most important beaches in Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic, thanks to its blue flag status due to its great natural conditions.

Its main attractions are its crystal-clear waters and one of the most beautiful sea floors of Puerto Plata, where you can observe coral reefs and a varied marine fauna. You can go for a walk under its palm trees or sunbathe under the Dominican sun.  

Dorada Beach has a wide range of resorts, restaurants, bars and pubs, where you can discover the Dominican culture and customs. Furthermore, this beach has golf links, and you can take a diving course.   

One of its main attractions is its privacy, because it is necessary to have access permission. This is a calm and relaxing beach where you can enjoy a beach day.
