General Gregorio Luperón House Museum, in Puerto Plata, is one of the most visited and beautiful places in the Dominican Republic, because there, it is conserved the legacy and work of the Dominican national hero.

The museum is located in a victorian-style building. Inside, you can discover General Gregorio Luperón origins and story, thanks to the numerous photos and personal objects that the museum possesses.

This house museum is formed by eight rooms, in which the most important events in his life are recreated. The most important are room 1, where it is exhibited the typical clothing at that time; and also room 2, in which it is shown the life of this hero. There is an interactive room, that explains the importance of the Restoration Triumph, that was carried out by General Gregorio Luperón, Pedro Santana, José Antonio Salcedo, Gaspar Polanco, Pedro Antonio Pimentel and Benito Monción.
