Imbert is a little district located in the province of Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic’s northern coast. In this welcoming, beautiful northern district the majority of its inhabitants live in rural areas. As it is far from the coast, there are not many tourists. On the one hand, the village’s most important monument is a beautiful Christian church called Home of God.

On the other hand, in Imbert’s surroundings it is emplaced one of the most incredible natural and adventure circuits, that you can take during your holidays in the Dominican Republic. This circuit goes through the Twenty Seven Damajagua Waterfalls, there, you can swim in the beautiful natural swimming pools or climb up the waterfalls.

It is easy to access Imbert by bus from Puerto Plata, Santiago or Luperón.
