There are several spas in the city of Jarabacoa, in the province of La Vega, in the Dominican Republic. Some of the most important ones are the health resort of La Confluencia, that of Baiguate, La Cortina and the one from Manabao.

The first of these, the resort of La Confluencia, owes its name to the confluence or merging of Yaque del Norte and Jimenoa rivers. You can go to this place on foot and by car or on horseback, which can be rented there to enjoy a walk. This spa has a swallow place for children to bathe more safely. It also has paths full of flowers and the water has a good temperature in suitable conditions for bathing during all year.
