José del Carmen Ramírez National Park has several spas and springs: those of the Yaque del Sur, San Juan, Los Baos, Mijo, Vallejuelo and Maguana rivers. In these spas and springs, the cold waters of these rivers refresh the visitors, who enjoy a cooling bath surrounded by the area’s characteristic tropical environment.

There is also the possibility to visit its sulfur springs in where some people find relief to their maladies. One of the most appreciated sulfur springs is Orégano Grande, which is located at about 35 km to the southwest from San Juan de la Maguana.
