Located at a 40-minutes’ drive away from Santo Domingo, the Salto Socoa waterfall is located in Los Haitises National Park, inside Bayaguana town, and is one of the region’s most impressive natural settings.

It is a cascade that ends in a natural spa very appreciated by tourists; but the place’s beauty is not only in its waterfall and ponds, but it is also in its setting: the wild tropical jungle that surrounds it.

This waterfall is considered to be one of the Dominican Republic’s areas with more environmental resources.
