Salto Aguas Blancas Waterfall, in La Vega, of 83 metres high, is the Antilles’ highest waterfall, even though it is divided into three sections, which flow down by a sheer cliff to end at a beautiful pond.

These cataracts are a part of the course of the Aguas Blancas stream, tributary of Grande del Medio River, inside Valle Nuevo National Park.

The path to these amazing waterfalls is magical but hard, thus, it is compulsory to go on an off-road vehicle. If you do not have a car, it is possible to hire this service directly from the hotels in the area.
