Paraíso Town has lots of exuberant tropical mountainous landscapes and valleys covered with lush vegetation, mainly fruit, forest and timber trees.

Paraíso is located at almost 210 kilometres away from Santo Domingo (the country’s capital city), in the southwestern end of the Dominican Republic, in Barahona Province. This province is inside the geographic region of Bahoruco Mountain Range, which is the most southern mountain system of the four mountain ranges that are located inside the Dominican borders.

You won’t want to leave the area once you have discovered the multiple cascades of the rivers in Paraíso town and the crystalline, blue waters of its beaches. But do not forget to bring your sunscreen and rest under the Dominican sun or swim softly swayed by the beaches’ smooth swell. Every tourist who visits this area is strongly amazed by its charms.
