Enjoy diving in La Romana in the warm and blue waters in this area of Dominican Republic. Observe submarine caves and coral reefs; swim among more than 120 different species of tropical fishes and a great variety of marine fauna.

Explore the places where several ships sank centuries ago, and visit the living museums of the Naufragio del Capitán Kidd Shipwreck, and the ones of Guadalupe and Guaraguao. Contemplate sank ships and other archeological objects covered in coral and other underwater life.

Dive in the waters of Catalina Island and observe the coral wall surrounding it on a tour that leaves from the dock of La Romana and lasts around 2 hours.

If you prefer diving, visit the St. George's Wreck, a wrecked ship of 85-meters length at around 40 meters deeps, that suffered the poundings of Hurricane George.

Other interesting places for diving are in the East National Park, Catalinita Island or the mouth of the Chavón river.
